Opened in October 2002, Singapore’s Esplanade Theatres on the Bay contains a 2,000 seat theatre, a 1,600 seat concert hall, a 250 seat recital hall and a 220 seat theatre studio. Northern Light provided the installation of production lighting equipment for each separate venue.
Northern Light’s work included the full installation of production lighting wiring and the majority of the containment. Northern Light also installed numerous dimmer racks and over 200 moving lights and 1,200 generic lanterns.
The working light control systems in each performance space were manufactured by Northern Light, after being custom engineered by our Technical Director.
This majestic theatre complex has quickly become a major touring and performance venue for many international companies visiting Asia and Northern Light were honoured to be a part of bringing it to fruition.
