NL Productions provides technical services to the 2011 MOBO Awards

NL Productions - the events arm of Northern Light - provided a range of equipment and services to this year's MOBO Awards, which took place in Glasgow on Wednesday 5th October.

The company was called upon to provide a variety of audio visual systems, including repeater screens to the left and right of the main stage, projectors, plasmas and lighting effects.

Phil O'Halloran, Head of NL Productions, commented:  "It goes without saying that being asked to work on an event as prestigious as the MOBO Awards was a fantastic coup for NL Productions.  We've recently rebranded to make our service offering more creative; and an event like this really enabled us to shine.  We hope to continue our working relationship with the MOBO Organisation for many years to come."

NL Productions utilised Panasonic 10k projectors and two repeater screens on either side of the stage and provided vision mixing via a feed from the outside broadcasting truck direct to these screens.  Additionally, the company kitted out the VIP areas, green rooms, talent area, media room and MOBO offices with plasma screens to ensure that everyone involved was kept up to date with the on stage action.

Finally, NL Productions used their stock of GDS LiteWare uplighters to create a glamourous, chic and welcoming VIP area for the special guests at the event.
