Hidden away behind a row of houses - and situated on the same site as its predecessor, the Theatre Royal - Wexford Opera House is one of the finest small opera houses in Europe. Built in 2008, Northern Light were responsible for the design, installation and commissioning of sound and lighting systems for the main theatre and the studio theatre.
Working for three separate bodies - the design elements were for the Office of Public Works, the installation was for J Ryan Electrical and provision of loose equipment was straight to the Opera House itself - Northern Light worked hard to successfully co-ordinate all works across the three individual contracts.

As part of a major regeneration project for Leicester, Curve provides a fantastic new performing arts centre for the city. The venue contains a 750 seat main theatre and a 350 seat studio theatre.
Involved in the project from the early stages, Northern Light attended design team meetings to offer technical input. Thereafter, Northern Light were responsible for the sound, lighting and communications infrastructure installation.
The large and complex cable infrastructure dictated that Northern Light co-ordinated closely with the main contractor and the electrical contractor and the innovative building design including 360 degree sightlines within the main theatre meant that services normally confined to the stage and auditorium were extended into public spaces.
